My intuition and tarot dictate what I decide to do for each moon. Yesterday a client came by for a reading and as I was giving them advice and clarity, I realized I hadn’t done this in years and needed it too. Well , not the bath but the writing ritual. And I pulled cards today to clarify, for the collective. The cards said:
Our previous choices no longer serve us. We have healed the trauma that drove them. And now that we are clear and healed in one way, we must begin new work. Luckily we have the sun and king of wands behind us. And we see a five of wands reversed; no one will get in our way. When we are coming back into ourselves our greatest competitor becomes our self (both old and now) except we are finally home. There is no more competition.
We have integrated the pieces, the shadow.
The Ritual:
Run a bath filled with your favorite scents and herbs. It’s your freedom and your time so make it as ornate or as classic as you want. I prefer luxuriating a bit with flower petals, protective herbs and candles. This bath is to cleanse you of everything leading up to that moment. Your pre-full moon self. This is Sagittarius this is letting go.
The color of candles don’t matter. This is utter freedom to you.

As you’re in the bath, try playing with a word map. Stream of consiousness. Like pictured below. Let certain phrases come up. Start drawing lines to the words. Start noticing patterns. I have done sporadically for years and it has cleared up much confusion inside of me. This is just one example of a particular shadow with writing and men I was working with but just allowing words, then phrases, then grouping them together to make a pattern showed me:
My darkest shadow is my actress twirling on the poetry stage for men. And to write I needed an audience.
A story begins this way. I add tarot. I add goddesses. I add different energy. I begin to channel what really needs to be released from me. This leads to a more positive storytelling. It helps lead me in a direction. You can also ask for deities to enter you and write with your left hand to see what they say. When I did that, they simply said ” I am elemental.” And it haunts me in the best way.
After the bath, you can do a final tarot reading and channeling session in front of your altar. Only after, begin your affirmations. You can burn what is being released if you’d like but that’s what the bath was for. It went down the drain. Focus on next steps.
That I call one form of automatic writing. And what I call “shadow mapping.” Without shadows, we cannot see ourselves.
