Valerian Tincture

Valerian is a strong sedative that may help you fall asleep and stay asleep. Great for insomnia or shift work. (If you can’t stand the smell, try my lavender mix). The body can develop a tolerance to this one fast. Start with 1/2  to 1 full dropper, 30 minutes before bedtime, or 1 to 3 times a day for anxiety. If needed, go up to 4 droppers. Do not exceed 5 droppers at a time. Possible side effects: grogginess, vivid dreams, nightmares. If you wake up in middle of night. take another dropperful. Up to 60 uses (2 oz.) to 120 uses (4oz.) All tinctures sit on my altar for an extended period of time to help imbue them with manifestation power. Properties: nervine, sedative, anti-inflammatory, anxiolytic, anti-spasmodic, and anti-inflammatory.
