Wormwood Tincture
Wormwood tincture—associated with Absinthe, Artemis and hallucinations….but does it really make you hallucinate?
It grounds you. Connects you to Artemis. Connects you to the Earth. It’s an anti-microbial, digestive, anti-oxidative and insecticidal (repels fleas and protects clothes from moths) that may be good for digestion issues and to rid the stomach of parasites by stimulating stomach and gallbladder function. Great for ritual work, connector for winter solstice and Earth goddesses. Take 1-2 dropperfuls (1 to 2 ml) 3 x a day. Wormwood contains Thujone which in high doses can cause seizures. Thujone clears from the body in 8 hours. Avoid during pregnancy. as it may bring on uterine contractions. Â Up to 60 uses (2oz.) or 120 uses (4oz.). Â Properties: anti-depressant, digestive, neuroprotective (preserve structure of neurons), hepatoprotective (may help liver), anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, insecticidal (topical only) and anti-microbial.Â
As always, this spent time on my altar. This one in particular spent time being imbued with the dark magic that protects us and rhymes with ex. Use to protect yourself against others and to send them little worms at night.
